I was approached by my client through social media when she wanted to do something special for her sisters after recently losing their beloved mother. I met with her and spent some time learning about her Mom and the great love she had for nature. I designed a piece that depicts three trees, representing the 3 sisters. The clouds in the sky are comprised of their mother's cremated remains to symbolize that she is always watching over them, sheltering them. The piece is mounted on a natural wood base and acts as a candle shield so that it can be lit to add a warm, flickering glow.
