I worked with my client to create a meaningful memorial to honour her father. She chose to depict Mt. Cheam, a favourite hiking destination where her family spent many outings with Dad/Grandpa. The cremated remains make up the snow on the mountain peak.

She had me make 5 sculptures, one for her mother and each of her 4 sons. She chose some natural wood bases, and some black wood bases. Because they are each an original work of art, each are slighty different, unique, just as their relationship to their loved one is unique.
